Welcome to Hithaishi Charitable Trust
HITHAISHI CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL (HCEH) is a Cross- subsidized model of NGO eye hospital (all OPD consultation completely highly affordable to everyone, most of the cataract surgeries are done free or highly subsidized).
HCEH registered as a Trust (not –for- profit): 20th April 2022 is for Comprehensive Eye Care among the marginalized communities with special attention to seniors, children and women at BoP.

Our Aims And Objectives:
We focus on education of eye healthcare workers including ophthalmologists, optometrists and para eye care teams which has multiplier effect in quality eye healthcare delivery.

Provide eye care of highest 'Quality’ where it is very much needed among the poorest affected by poverty, lack of awareness or non-availability of eye care services
2.
Eradication of blindness through Promotion of health, education, employment, by opening of hospitals, wellness center, educational centers, satellite and mobile centers.
3.
Provide free or subsidized treatment to those who cannot afford it through hospitals and vision centers close to the community.
4.
Plan to create a total of 20 vision centers. One vision center with door to door screening (ankhon ka upchar aap ke dwar) can take care of 50 to 70 villages.
5.
Skill Development- Encourage and strengthen teaching and training programs along with super specializations to Doctors, Ophthalmic Assistants, training of ASHA.
6.
Contribute for the success of National Program for Control of Blindness.

Enhancing eye bank and keratoplasty services

Epidemiological research to know the facts about eye care in society, availability and requirement of vision care services.
9.
Advocacy for improvement in eye care system through policy and planning emphasizing that poor vision impacts education, employability, equality, road safety and quality of life.
